Nerve Territory Oriented Macrodactyly which is not associated with Neurofibromatosis

Abstract
Macrodactyly refers to a congenital malformation characterized by an increase in the size of all the elements or structures of a digit or digits. The phalanges, tendons, nerves, vessels, subcutaneous fat, finger nails, and skin are all enlarged. The basic lesion appears to be the accumulation of fibrofatty tissue in the peripheral nerve.
Kelikian called the most common variety of the true macrodactyly combined with peripheral nerve abnormalities, a "nerve territory oriented macrodactyly (NTOM) ". The NTOM excluding the neurofibromatosis is very rare in review of the previous literatures.
The authors recently experienced a case of. NTOM occurred in the thumb and index fingers of the right hand.
